The East Bakersfield Festival

Children First is proud to bring back the annual East Bakersfield Festival on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 11am to 4pm at Jefferson Park. East Bakersfield Festival brings together neighbors, families and friends through food, music, dancing, and fun. The event, free and open to the entire family, will include a strong emphasis on health and wellness education, with various community resources available; live performances from local bands and dance groups; and a public art exhibition.
